Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information LEXICON collects, why it is collected, and the choices you have. It covers the game and this website.

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Summary

LEXICON does not ask you for your name, your email address, or any account details, and it does not collect them. The only data the game sends anywhere is anonymous gameplay and performance analytics through Unity Analytics, which we use to see where players get stuck and where the game runs badly.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

Who We Are

T² Games is the data controller for the information described in this policy.

Email:
support@tsquaredgames.com

If you are in the EU or UK and would like the postal address of the controller for a formal request, email us and we will provide it.

What We Collect

In the game

LEXICON uses Unity Analytics, provided by Unity Technologies. When it is enabled, Unity Analytics collects:

The installation identifier is pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous. On its own it does not identify you, but data protection law still treats it as personal data, so we handle it under this policy and give you the rights described below.

On this website

This website does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Our host records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. Pages that embed third party content, such as video players or storefront widgets, may set cookies controlled by those providers under their own policies.

When you contact us

If you email us or join our Discord, we hold whatever you choose to send us so that we can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Why We Collect It

Legal basis: where consent is required, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. For error and crash reporting we may also rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working correctly. For replying to your messages we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to you.

Who Processes It

Unity Technologies acts as our data processor for analytics and stores the data on our behalf. Their handling of it is covered by Unity's own privacy policy:

unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy

Analytics data may be stored or processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How Long We Keep It

Analytics data is retained by Unity according to their published retention schedule, and we do not keep our own separate copy of raw event data beyond that period. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with your question.

Your Rights

If you are in the EU, the EEA, or the UK, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email support@tsquaredgames.com and we will respond within one month. Because analytics data is keyed to a random installation identifier and not to you, we may need that identifier to locate your records. You can find it in the game under Settings, in the privacy section.

Your Choices

You can turn analytics off in LEXICON at any time under Settings, in the privacy section. Turning it off stops the game from sending further analytics events. You can also request deletion of data already collected by emailing us or by using Unity's own player data request form:

Unity player data requests

Children

LEXICON is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We keep the amount of data we collect as small as we reasonably can, which is the strongest protection available. Data held by our processor is protected by their technical and organisational security measures. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Changes To This Policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in our devlog and on our Discord.
